|1. Ordering Ribbon & Trims
JKM does not have a minimum order. We welcome and supply any customer any combination of our ribbon, trims and other products. Sales tax only applies to residents of New Jersey and while a Tax ID is not required to shop at JKM, customers in New Jersey who provide one will not be charged sales tax. NJ residents must email or fax their resale certificate, ST3 or ST5 to JKM.
Each web page allows you to search for ribbon and trims by Product Category or Manufacturer on the left side menus or you can type in the name or type of Ribbon or Trim, a general category or other key words in the search bar.
Search by Keyword in Search Bar
If you choose to search by a keyword in the search bar, all product listings related to the words entered will show. Next you will have the ability to narrow down these results by width, color, general characteristic and/or manufacturer. When you find the product you are looking for, click the product thumbnail or product name to bring you to the Product Detail page to view all the important information about the product where you can order or...
If you are familiar with the product, Click List All for Easy Shopping and you will be able to quickly view and/or order any colors and/or widths for this specific product and bypass the product detail information page.

Search by Category and/or Manufacturer
In addition to using the search bar, you can either click a category or a manufacturer on the left side menu.
If you click a main category, you will go to a page which lists the sub categories of the main category or if you keep your mouse over the main category, you can click to a specific sub category shown on the fly out menu.
If you click a manufacturer, you will go to a page which lists the sub categories for the manufacturer.
After you click a sub category you will go to page showing all products in the sub category. Now you will have the ability to narrow down these results by width, color, general characteristic and/or manufacturer. If you started with manufacturer, you can only narrow your results by width, color and general characteristic. Tip! If you want to see products by all manufacturers, start from a main category.
When you find the product you are looking for, click the product thumbnail or product name to bring you to the Product Detail page to view all the important information about the product and add to your shopping cart or...
If you are familiar with the product, instead of clicking the product thumbnail, Click List All for Easy Shopping and you will be able to quickly order any colors and/or widths for this product and by pass the product detail information page.

Ordering by Product Detail Page
Once you are on the Product Detail page, you can now use the drop down menus to choose the item you want. First select a width and all available widths for the product are listed. Next select a put up and all available put ups for the width selected are shown. Next select a color and only the colors available for the selected width and put up are shown. There may be more or less colors available for different widths and put ups.
In order to view the different product colors in the large swatch box, please click the small color thumbnails shown in the middle of the product detail page after you have picked a width and put up on the drop down menus. You will not be able to see a color in the large swatch box until you select a width and put up. Only colors available for the width and put up selected will appear in the large swatch box. After you select your three options, enter the quantity you need and click add to cart. Please note you are purchasing for the price shown a WHOLE SPOOL, REEL or BOX (box has a specified number of packages in the box). At the top of the page, your cart will reflect the items you have purchased. Please check that you are ordering the correct quantity and color. If you would like to view your CART, click the View Cart button at any time.
Ordering by Clicking List All For Easy Shopping Link
When you are on the page showing all the products of a category, you can click the product thumbnail (or product name) to go to the detail information page of a specific product or by clicking List All For Easy Shopping a new window will appear listing every color and width available for the specific product you chose.
Now you can simply enter the quantity you need for each item and click add to cart. You can go down the list easily and add to the cart without having to use the drop down menu on the product detail page to find a width and/or color combination. If you are familiar with the product details, you can use this link to order quickly. If you need information on the product like fabric content, application and other information, click the product thumbnail or product name on the page showing all the products in the category and do not use the List All For Easy Shopping link.
Existing customers can log in to review order history and access a previous order which they can copy to the shopping cart. New customers can register and setup an account to access information on future orders and/or to receive newsletters and email coupons for product savings.

You can continue to ANY page on the web site by clicking a specific manufacturer, by using the keyword search or by clicking the ribbon categories on the left or by clicking any button on the web site. You can use your page trail shown at the top to the right of the product categories to go back to your previous page or you can use your browser back button.
Please note a user session is 40 minutes long, in which, you might lose your shopping cart if you leave the site for a period beyond this timeframe and not logged in as an existing customer. If you are logged in and an existing customer, then you can leave the site and next time you log in your cart will be saved. Another method to saving your cart is to add the items to your wish list if you feel you might leave the site.

2. Checkout Process
When you are ready to checkout, click the view cart link at the top of the page and you will be directed to JKM's secured area.
JKM Ribbon & Trims is a secure site under the seal of Thawte Secured Systems. Please click on the Thawte Seal for more detailed information.
Once on the view cart page, you will have a few options. If you want to get an estimate of your shipping charges, a shipping calculator is on the view cart page at the end of your shopping cart list to provide the estimated shipping cost.
When you are ready to checkout, you can click Checkout then you will be redirected to a login page. Please note if you are an existing customer and logged in prior to viewing your shopping cart, you will have the option of a one page Fast Checkout. However, you must be logged in prior to viewing the cart. If you are not logged in, you only have the option of JKM's 5 step checkout which is detailed below.
Step 1. Login Page
The first step is the login page. If you are an existing customer and did not log in yet then you can log in now to retrieve your saved billing and shipping addresses. JKM does not store credit card information. If you are a new customer, you can click Create Account and you will be sent to a registration page prior to the billing/shipping page in step 2. New customer registration allows you to save your information on future orders and/or to receive newsletters and email coupons for product savings. You also have the ability to checkout as a guest in which your information will not be stored for future visits to the site. If an existing customer logs in prior to viewing the cart, you will go directly to the shipping/billing section from the view cart page.
Step 2. Shipping/Billing
The second step requires SHIPPING and BILLING INFORMATION - where JKM will ship your order and the billing address of your credit card. Existing customers will see any address profile they have on file and can click the drop down menus to select the correct address. New customers will have just finished registering and the main address you submitted will appear. If you need to add an address, you can do so on the Shipping/Billing page.
Step 3. Select Shipping Method
The next section requires you to select a shipping option. You must select an option even if you are going to use your own UPS or Federal Express account. Use the Order Comments box on the Payment Page (Step 5) to provide JKM with your UPS or Federal Express account number.
The following are Very Important Points on this page.
Please read the JKM Shipping and Handling Policy for more details. If JKM is running a free shipping promotion, the UPS Ground option will show a final value of $0.00.
The time before JKM is ready to ship varies from 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS for most orders up to 4 weeks or more for special ribbons. We may not be able to change the TIME BEFORE WE SHIP even though you choose expedited shipping. Please include the date you need your order in the Order Comments Box in the checkout process final page. JKM will evaluate whether we can meet your date and state the timing in the email confirmation you receive within 1 business day of placing your order. If you do not specify a date, we will ship when available.
JKM ships ALL ORDERS by UPS (United Parcel Service) except for Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories where we ship by USPS Priority Mail and International shipments where we use USPS Priority Mail International and Express Mail International (EMS).
The transit time to your area varies as follows based on the distance from our location in New Jersey.
3 - 6 BUSINESS DAYS using UPS Ground depending on your U.S. location.
5 - 6 BUSINESS DAYS using Priority Mail to Alaska, Hawaii or U.S. Territories.
7 - 10 BUSINESS DAYS for International Orders to most countries
Step 4. Order Summary / Promotional Code Area
At this point, you can review your order and enter any promotional codes JKM might be offering. Coupon codes are case sensitive and it is important you enter it correctly. If any coupons or special offers are available, you can only apply one coupon per order and cannot combine coupon codes or discounts. In addition, JKM occasionally offers free shipping which allows any customer within the 48 continental United States to receive free UPS Ground based upon a certain order minimum reached. Please note if you are a gold club member, you will be provided a special code only enabled for Gold Club members. These particular codes will also be on a private, member only page in case you need the codes again for checkout.
Step 5. Payment Section and Order Comments
The final step is where you will enter your credit card information and type in any comments regarding your order.
JKM accepts VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER or AMERICAN EXPRESS. Please provide CREDIT CARD INFORMATION - credit card number, expiration date and CVV2# and please ensure these numbers correspond to the billing address you provided. A link is provided in this section to illustrate the location of the CVV2#.
The ORDER COMMENTS BOX is available for you to tell JKM any information about your order including: date needed, your UPS or Fed Ex account if you would like us to use it, special instructions about your order, special delivery instructions, specific details for printed ribbon orders and any other information you feel will help us process your order. This is a user friendly field to make your experience with JKM fit your specific needs.
Finally, please Click Place Order which will bring you to a page that confirms your order has been submitted and gives you an ORDER NUMBER. Do not click this button repeatedly and only click once. Allow up to 60 seconds to process.
Step 6. Order Confirmation
Once the order is submitted, an order confirmation page will appear with your ORDER NUMBER. Please use this ORDER NUMBER in any correspondence with JKM Ribbon and Trims.
You will receive the following emails:
First Email - sent immediately to you with a summary of the order.
Second Email - sent within 1 business day (excluding weekends and holidays) with the approximate timing before your order is ready to ship. If you do not receive this email within 1 business day, please immediately notify JKM by email. It is important you understand the timing required before we ship your order.
Third Email - sent when the order ships and includes tracking information. The tracking information can be found in your online account after we ship.
The best method to communicate with JKM Ribbon & Trims for order status or other questions is by emailing JKM at email@example.com. We respond to emails within 1 business day and we continually review emails during business hours. Email provides an opportunity for JKM to research your questions and provide a quality response.
Please make sure Order Number and/or your Billing Information is included in any correspondence with JKM. Please include your email address on any fax sent to JKM.
