1.   CUSTOMER INFORMATION and PRIVACY POLICY

In order to process your order, JKM requires the following information which is used solely to communicate with our customers and is not distributed or sold. This information is used by JKM to email questions/ comments on orders or to email our newsletters featuring new product additions to www.jkmribbon.com and other important JKM Ribbon & Trim information.

Your billing & shipping addresses, email and password and previous orders are stored for easy access and ordering the next time you shop. For your added protection, Credit Card information is NOT STORED on our shopping cart. It is only used to process the order you are placing in our secure section.

2.   SHIPPING AND HANDLING

JKM provides our customers with access to an extensive selection of RIBBON & TRIMS. JKM supplies over 120,000 different ribbon and trims at a $25 Minimum Order (not including shipping charges) and at Wholesale prices.

Please note that the date an order is READY TO SHIP is very important. The time frame before we are ready to ship is necessary because of inventory fluctuations due to ribbon colors and widths, to allow you access to a wide variety of ribbons & trims and for JKM to "bunch" small orders to make large ones. We cannot stock every item and maintain wholesale prices and low minimum orders.

The following is a GENERAL GUIDELINE of the TIME IT TAKES BEFORE WE ARE READY TO SHIP and does not include the ship time to your area from our location in New Jersey.

Ribbon by Offray, Morex, C & G, Berwick & JKM take up to
    10 Business Days to ship.
Printing on Ribbon takes up to 2 ½ weeks to ship.
Ribbon or Trims by Wrights, Conso take up to 4 weeks to ship.
Trims by Heritage, St. Louis take up to 4 weeks to ship
. Hand Dyed Silk is custom dyed and takes up to 3 weeks to ship.
JKM Pouches, JKM Bulk Bias Tape and JKM Appliques take up to 3 weeks to ship.
JKM Ric Rack and Braids take up to 4 weeks to ship - they are made to order.
Ribbon by Mokuba takes up to 4 weeks to ship - Special order from Japan.
Special Ribbons including Fabric Velvets, Silk Double Face Satin, Petersham Grosgrain and other Fine Woven Ribbons and Ribbon Accessories take up to 4 weeks to ship. These are noted on the web site.

JKM has a limited stock of basic everyday ribbons. If the ribbon is in stock, JKM will ship your order within 2 BUSINESS DAYS.

We may not be able to change the TIME BEFORE WE SHIP even though you choose expedited shipping. If you need an order expedited, you must include the date you need it by in the Special Instructions Box in the checkout process - JKM will evaluate whether we can meet your date. If you do not specify a date, we will ship when available. We will email you a confirmation of your order within 1 business day which will include approximate timing for your order to ship.

JKM uses Federal Express (Fed Ex) to ship almost all U.S. orders.
Please select FEDEX GROUND, 2 DAY OR 3 DAY Service.
Residents of ALASKA, HAWAII or U.S. TERRITORIES, please select PRIORITY MAIL. JKM DOES NOT SHIP by PRIORITY MAIL to any other U.S. location and cannot process an order if Priority Mail is selected for any other U.S. location except Alaska, Hawaii or U.S. Territories.

International Residents (outside the United States, Alaska, Hawaii or U.S. Territories) MUST SELECT EXPRESS MAIL INTERNATIONAL (EMS). We ship all international orders only by Express Mail International (EMS) to ensure proper order tracking.
JKM is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any local duties and/or taxes. We DO NOT INCLUDE these in our shipping and handling costs.

JKM can ship by FedEx overnight, 2 day or 3 day ONLY AFTER your order is ready to ship. We can use your UPS or Federal Express account if this is noted in the Special Instructions box when you checkout. We can ship FedEx overnight, 2 day or 3 day AFTER WE ARE READY TO SHIP. Please review expected order receipt times shown below.

You should EXPECT TO RECEIVE your order from the date you ordered as follows:

The time it takes for JKM to be ready to ship based on the guidelines above. 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS on most orders up to 4 Weeks depending on the product
or 2 days before we ship if the ribbon is in stock (limited to basic items).

Shipping Time to your area starting the next day after JKM ships from New Jersey: Approx. 3-6 BUSINESS DAYS using FedEx Ground (JKM is in New Jersey) or
1-3 BUSINESS DAYS using FedEx Overnight, 2 Day or 3 Day Service, respectively or
Approx. 5 BUSINESS DAYS using Priority Mail to Alaska, Hawaii or U.S. Territories International Shipping time is approx. 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS to most countries.

In the JKM order process, 3 emails are sent to you.
First Email - sent immediately to you with a summary of the order.
Second Email - sent within 1 business day (excluding weekends and holidays) with the approximate timing before your order is ready to ship.
Third Email - sent when the order ships and includes tracking information.

Please note that ALL JKM SALES ARE FINAL. An order can be cancelled by email or fax (no verbal cancellations are accepted) within 1 business day after you place the order and receive your email confirmation of timing. After 1 business day, the order will be processed and the order cannot be cancelled.

3.   SHIPPING AND HANDLING RATES

New Jersey residents will be charged 7% sales tax on all orders unless JKM has a copy of your ST-3 exempt form or Resale Certificate on file.

Shipping and Handling Rates are based on your location relative to our facility in New Jersey and are subject to change. The shipping and handling charge will be shown during the checkout process after you select a shipment option. The shipment options are detailed in our Sales and Shipping Policy section 2.

YOU MUST SELECT A SHIPPING OPTION TO CONTINUE THE CHECKOUT PROCESS. You MUST PICK a shipment option even if you want to use your own account. Use the Special Instruction Box for any comments regarding your order including shipment options and the date required or any other comment. We will make any adjustments to your order and notify you in the email confirmation you will receive within 1 business day.

4.   ORDER STATUS

JKM supplies over 120,000 ribbon and trims and at times there will be delays, stock outs and backorders of specific items. Please EMAIL JKM after you have waited the time frame including ship time to your area as stated on your order confirmation if you would like information on your order (jkmribbon@jkmribbon.com). We require an email with your name and/or order number to research your order question.

Due to the volume of orders across 20 different manufacturers and the number of ribbons and trims we supply, we cannot provide an in advance follow-up service and continue to maintain wholesale prices and low minimum orders. Our web site is based on current product lines of our manufacturers which are adjusted daily. We only know of delayed or discontinued items when we receive our large shipment which includes your order.

If your order does not arrive in the timeframe expected and is on back order, we can only follow up when we receive a customer email inquiry which we will respond to within 1 business day.

For future orders, if you want to ensure 100% delivery in a specific timeframe then you must order over $300 of only one ribbon or trim (2-3 colors of the item is permitted). We can schedule manufacturing of this type order upfront and provide exact delivery timing. We usually ship this type order in about 2-5 days.

5.   BACK ORDERS

Due to the extensive number of ribbons supplied by JKM, an ordered item may be on back order. JKM will ship the bulk of the order within the time detailed in section 3 of our Sales Policy and within approx. 2 - 3 weeks ship the back order with no additional freight charge. JKM will not be responsible for freight on back orders if a customer requests an immediate (within 2 days) partial shipment of an order which takes the usual 7-10 days or more before it can ship complete. In this case, JKM will charge the freight on the second shipment to complete the order.

Your invoice will indicate if an item is on back order. A zero will appear in the shipped column and a comment will be shown on the invoice. If any item has been discontinued, it will be noted on your invoice in the comment section. For more details on the status of your backorder, please review ORDER STATUS - section 4 of this policy.

6.   RETURN POLICY

All JKM PRODUCTS' SALES ARE FINAL. THIS INCLUDES RIBBON, TRIMS & ALL OTHER PRODUCTS ON OUR WEB SITE.
The colors of any ribbon, trim or other product on this web site compared to actual product may vary depending on computer hardware and software used to view the product, and ribbon dye lot variations. JKM is not responsible for colors not matching the intended use and does not accept returns on this basis.

If the ribbon, trim or other product is defective, please email JKM at jkmribbon@jkmribbon.com with details within 5 days of receipt of the product to obtain a defective product return authorization number. NO RETURNS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT AN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER from JKM.

Our All Sales Final Policy is necessary to maintain low minimum orders at wholesale prices in support of our customer base. We do not make any exceptions because of the number of orders we process which would force us to raise prices and minimum orders to provide a return/exchange service. We hope you can appreciate the need for this policy.

JKM Products Corporation has been in business over 13 years supplying Ribbon and Trims to the craft, bridal, floral, packaging, home sewing, design and specialty markets. We offer you the largest and finest selection of ribbon and trims for only a $25 minimum order at Wholesale Prices. Our online Catalogue and Shopping Cart Web Site allows you to view our product line and order any JKM Ribbon, Trim or related product simply and quickly. The JKM Web Site is our only catalogue.

Our customers can mix ribbons from suppliers and order as needed to reduce inventory costs. We ship most orders in approx. 10 business days and when we process your order, we always explain delivery timing by email confirmation. When we ship your order, we email you the tracking number for the shipment option you selected.

We try our very best to ensure you receive the correct ribbons in a timely manner and we do not make any substitutions without the permission of our customer.
